LivHome Inc., a provider of at-home care for seniors, has awarded a new franchise in The Woodlands. The franchise will provide care to seniors in Harris and Montgomery counties. The territory, which is home to more than 50,000 seniors, also includes the towns of Spring, Kingwood and Tomball. The franchise is scheduled to open in late summer and will be operated by Nancy Larkin and Bruce Gratland.
All franchises are based on LivHome’s model in which each client’s care is overseen by a professional care manager trained in nursing, geriatrics or social work. This business model is designed to distinguish LivHome from others in the industry.
Founded in 1999, the Los Angeles-based company has grown to become one of the nation’s largest providers of professionally led at-home care for seniors. Its mission is to enable older adults to remain in their homes for as long as possible.
LivHome has locations in Arlington, Va.; San Diego; Atlanta; Boston; Chicago; Denver; Houston; and Silver Spring, Md.
