Passionate about healthcare, John enjoys working with CEOs and management teams to solve challenges, develop strategy, and execute growth within emerging companies. John’s investment interests include technology-enabled healthcare services, innovations in drug delivery, and novel medical device platforms.

John joined Tullis in 2009 following 12 years of international business experience focused on corporate development and strategic planning. John was senior director of corporate development at Ryder System, Inc., where he led global mergers and acquisitions for supply chain and logistics. Previously, he spent four years as an associate at M.J. Meehan & Co., a New York Stock Exchange specialist firm. John also served for three years as an executive committee member and board member of the Beacon Council, Miami-Dade County’s economic development organization.

John is currently deal leader for TriSalus Life Sciences Inc. (Nasdaq: TLSI) and electroCore, Inc. (Nasdaq: ECOR). John is also an independent board member of Intrivo, a digital health technology platform, and chairs the YPO Americas Gateway chapter. John was previously a board member of TriSalus Life Sciences; CareSync, Inc.; and Endoscopic Technologies, Inc., as well as deal leader of OrthoSensor, Inc.

John is a graduate of DePauw University, received a graduate business certificate from the University of Virginia’s McIntire Business Institute, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami Graduate School of Business.
